Game development group Spearhead Studios has announced that they've signed a distribution deal with QTech Games and will provide their titles to the platform moving forward.
This agreement sees Spearhead's full suite of games being brought over to the QTech platform, where it'll then be distributed to their casino partners. Spearhead currently has 25 slots and table games in their library, with Wilds of Wall Street and Book of Souls standing out as the group's primer titles. The company has a focus on mobile-first development, but their games can be played on any device.
Commenting on the deal QTech Games CCO Ulf Norder said, "We're committed to rolling out the best content that generates fresh revenue streams for our partners. Therefore, this deal with Spearhead Studios extends our wide-ranging pipeline for the year. In today's marketplace, only a premier portfolio of the highest calibre separates you from the crowd, so we're thrilled to see how Spearhead has satisfied this demand."
Spearhead's Mathias Larsson added: "Our aim at Spearhead is to disrupt the industry by making local games for local markets - and in QTech Games we've found a platform partner who shares our core values . Teaming up with them constitutes a fantastic opportunity to bolster our product distribution across emerging territories and deliver our great games to a range of high-profile partners. We can't wait to see how they connect with new audiences, and we will expand this partnership over the months ahead.
"In an era of customisation, QTech Games is truly embracing their brand promise of tailoring top-class content for diverse audiences. It keeps them at the cutting edge of relevance for all kinds of players across emerging markets."
As of press time we don't know a timetable for the integration of the games, but the process should be pretty fast and casino partners should have access to the games in a matter of days.
