Kangwon Land Closes Once Again Due to Covid

Korean casino Kangwon Land has been forced to temporarily close again due to increased Covid-19 measures being implemented in the Jeongseongun Province.

The casino closed on December 8th, the third time that the casino has been shuttered since the Covid pandemic began. The casino first closed on February 23rd and reopened July 1st. The casino was forced to close a second time in August and reopened a second time in October.

Kangwon Land is reporting big decline in revenues, down 81.1% in the third quarter, with a KRW40.3 billion loss during the period.

There's no timetable as to when the casino will be able to open its doors again, but Casino Listings News will keep players updated as we learn more.
