Atlantic City to Auction Off the Chance to Blow Up Trump's Casino

This story was published more than 3 years ago.

Atlantic City's Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino is being demolished on January 29th, 2021 and city officials are auctioning off the rights to push the button to blow up the orange turd's former boardwalk property.

The chance to push the button will go to the highest bidder, and the funds from the auction will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. The property, which opened in the 1980's was operated by the current President of the United States before he sold it off and licensed his name to a new operator. The immense amount of disdain for Trump will likely see the amount bid go up.

Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small said that the auction will run from December 17th through January 19th, and it's thought that more than $1 million could be raised.

Potential bidders aren't known, but Casino Listings News will update readers when details on the winner emerge.
