Casino game developer Relax Gaming revealed this week that they've been granted a gaming license through the jurisdiction of Gibraltar, which will expand the number of operators that Relax can provide their games to.
The license will allow Relax to provide their games to casino operators that also hold a license through the jurisdiction. The company develops their own games and distributes games from other designers using their Silver Bullet platform. This license is the fourth for Relax, which also holds certification through the UK, Malta, and Romania.
Commenting on the licensing Relax Gaming CEO Tommi Maijala said, "Securing approval from the Gibraltar Licensing Authority is a key pillar in our growth strategy and we are delighted that all our products and services have been fully certified by the regulator, providing us with new avenues to extend our reach and add significant value to our third-party suppliers.
"The licence will allow us to push ahead at full speed in our core focus markets and progress deals with the industry's biggest names. With the landmark partnerships that are already in the pipeline, this next growth phase promises to rapidly expand our market reach."
As of press time we don't know who the first Gibraltar-licensed operator Relax plans to work with, but we'll be sure to keep CL readers posted.
