This story was published more than 2 years ago.

The state of Delaware is reporting their September 2020 sportsbetting numbers, indicating growth over August but with numbers still down from last year.

Revenues for the month came in at $904,450, up 146.4% from the month prior, but down 58.9% from the $2.2 million brought in last year. The rise is largely attributed to the return of NFL football, and saw handle of $7.3 million across all sports. That handle is up 143.3% from August, but down 38.1% from 2019.

Players won $6.2 million in the timeframe, which left the betting destinations with $904,450 in revenues.

We don't have a total on taxes paid, or what exactly the breakdown of revenues by sport were.
