BetVictor and Bild Launch Sportsbook in Germany

Betting group BetVictor has partnered with German newspaper Bild to launch a new online sportsbook that will be branded BildBet, providing sports wagers within the country.

The site will fully comply with the new online betting regulations that have passed in Germany and will provide wagers on popular sports around the globe, including basketball, football, cricket, rugby, golf, American football, and more. The option to expand to offer casino gambling will also be present, and with Germany launching the regulated market for the games next year may be a lock for launch in 2021.

Bild launched in 1952 as a tabloid newspaper and has become a nationally-known brand. That brand is what was attractive to BetVictor, who'll leverage the popularity to press their betting product.
