Knockout Gaming's Malta License Has Been Suspended

This story was published more than 3 years ago.

Today it was revealed that the Maltese gaming license of Knockout Gaming Limited has been suspended after the Malta Gaming Authority found that the operator breached two rules related to online betting.

Knockout Gaming operates Knockout Casino, Rush777, Spinomaniac, and Welivebets, and they also have a gaming platform wherein they distribute games. The license was suspended because of a failure to pay a licensing fee of €20,044.35 for a stretch of 2019 as well as violations of the country's Authorisations and Compliance Directive.

Under the terms of the suspension, Knockout must not accept new customers to their sites, but must allow existing customers to access the site in order to pull out funds. Knockout is allowed to appeal the decision, and there's a good chance that the license could be reinstated after the violations are rectified.
