Betting site PointsBet has announced that they've signed a content agreement with Evolution in which they'll use the software group to power their live dealer casino within the United States.
The agreement will see the different table games like baccarat, blackjack, and roulette being provided, as will different poker style games and the game shows that have proven to be popular across the globe. Of particular note is the newly released Monopoly Live, which features a 3D bonus round where players move around the popular board game in an effort to pick up prizes.
PointsBet is slated to launch their first American online casino in New Jersey using a sub-license from Twin River Worldwide Holdings. The company will provide sportsbetting services as well as casino games to punters within the Garden State. The group has sportsbetting operations in other states, but this casino venture is the first of its kind for the operator within the United States.
"We are thrilled to partner with Evolution Gaming to launch Live Casino technology in US jurisdictions, where we plan to offer our proprietary online casino platform," said PointsBet Chief Innovation Officer Seth Young. "The addition of Evolution Live Casino extends the appeal of PointsBet's premium product in the rapidly growing US market."
Evolution Gaming CCO Sebastian Johannisson added: "Evolution's Live Casino portfolio offers PointsBet a rich mix of world-leading online Live Casino games including classic table games, online Poker variants that are big favourites with US players, and our new generation of award-winning, record-breaking game show games. In addition, PointsBet will have the option of exclusively branded dedicated tables and environments, should they require these."
