In the wake of the big news that Evolution Gaming is planning to purchase Swedish game developer NetEnt, the company forgot that businesses have to renew their web domains. As a result, the NetEnt.com domain went down for an undisclosed amount of time.
Heading to NetEnt.com shortly after the news broke ended up getting a parked website notice from Go Daddy. The domain wasn't purchasable by anyone, but the hosting was put on pause. The issue has since been rectified and the NetEnt domain is back and operational.
Still, this is an embarrassing incident for a company that's looking to be purchased for $2 billion.
