Kok Sports Becomes Real Madrid Sponsor

This story was published more than 3 years ago.

Betting firm Kok Sports has announced that they've signed a sponsorship deal with Real Madrid, becoming the club's Official Sports Betting Sponsor for the Asian market.

The deal will start with the 2020-21 season and will last for three years, expiring after the 2022-23 season unless its renewed. Kok replaced ManBetX, who had previously served as the same sponsor before letting the deal run out. Asia is a growing betting market, as more get access to high speed internet and are keen to get their wagers in related to the world's most popular sport.

This agreement comes as the Spanish market is putting in place more restrictions on gambling advertising, especially due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
