Betting site Optibet has announced that they've launched eSports betting on their site due to a partnership with OddsMatrix.

The agreement will give Optiplex customers the chance to bet on competitive eSports events, which include NBA2K 20, CS:Go, Rocket League, and more. These betting options will be added to the Enlabs brand and will be provided to punters throughout Europe, particularly the Baltic and Nordic regions. eSports has been growing in popularity for years, and has particularly taken off in the absence of traditional sports during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Commenting on the agreement EveryMatric CCO Stian Hornsletten said, "I admire the work done at Enlabs in the past years and I think the present partnership is an important milestone for our esports services. Being creative in advancing new forms of entertainment is something that Optibet has very successfully done in the past years, and I am positive that esports betting will reinforce their market-leading position."

Optibet head of betting Daniel Belozetsev added: "We always strive to provide our customers with the best and most relevant content. With EveryMatrix we are offering a modern approach to esports betting, getting access to the rapidly growing world of professional sports competitions using video games. We are confident that this addition will attract new customers who like video games and increase the interest of existing customers by offering new betting opportunities."

The service is being integrated now and will be available to Optiplex customers soon.
