UK betting bingo site Gala Bingo has announced that they've opted to give their TV sponsorship of The Chase on ITV to their charity partner 52 Lives.
The company gave away their sponsorship for two weeks beginning on May 18th. The charity's goal is to use kindness to provide home furnishings, medical equipment, and more. These two groups have worked together for the past few years, with Gala having raised £400,000 for the charity, including £52,000 in April.
Commenting on the decision Gala Bingo's Head of Brand Marketing Karina Adrian said, "We're proud to work with 52 Lives, a fantastic initiative that makes a real difference, and to encourage our players to support the cause with our charity bingo games.
"We know their work is really important and wanted to make the sponsorship of The Chase available to them to help them to spread their message of kindness across the UK, as well as raise funds to help more people in need. We hope this means their donations continue to grow and grow."
52 Lives CEO Jaime Thurston added: "We've seen more kindness emerging than we ever have before. People are innately kind, and in times of crisis, we come together and want to help one another. We're thrilled to be sponsoring The Chase, as it's such a popular show and we hope to spread the message far and wide that kindness is the one thing that truly connects us all."
