The Canadian province of Alberta is gearing up to launch their online betting site, and the Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis Commission has announced that they're using NeoPollard Interactive to power the site.
The agreement will see NeoPollard providing the platform through which games like slots and draw games will be offered. Alberta is following in the likes of Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec in creating a regulated gaming option for residents, and partnering with NeoPollard will help get the site up quickly and smoothly. This agreement is good for seven years, and if all goes smoothly it can be extended an additional twelve years.
For their part, NeoPollard is a big-name lottery service provider. They have extensive operations in North America, including offices in Michigan and Manitoba. They provide their services in multiple states, and stand as a big-name player in the iGaming industry.
Commenting on the deal NeoPollard's general manager Liz Silver said, "NeoPollard Interactive is honoured to be entrusted by AGLC to power its online gambling solution using our market-proven technology, services and games."
