Relax Gaming Releases Retro-Styled Slot 'Hellcatraz'

This story was published more than 4 years ago.

Online betting software developer Relax Gaming has announced that they've launched their newest video slot, taking punters back to the 80's in their new 'Hellcatraz' slot.

The game sees players attempting to break out of Hellcatraz, a jail based on the legendary prison just off the coast of San Francisco. Hellcatraz uses retro 8-bit visuals, which will take punters back to the days of arcades and video game consoles. The game has cascading reels, a lockdown or mixed mode, and keys, that can unlock the Super Free Spins mode. The max win for the game is 46,656x the wagered amount, allowing for some huge cash prizes.

Check out a preview of the game below:

Commenting on the launch Relax Gaming's Simon Hammon said, "Our latest video slot, Hellcatraz, is an action-packed journey inside a prison island where big win potential thrives and mystery is widespread!

"With low polygon visuals inspired by the pixelated games of the '80s, a stunning soundscape and immersive gameplay, this rollercoaster of a game will make an exciting addition to any operator's slots portfolio."

The games are available for play now at casinos featuring Relax Gaming's library.

What an interesting looking game. Someone should give this a go and tell me how it is. I'm a sucker for retro graphics.

I tried this game, I really like the design, there's also a cool feature- to either buy the bonus or buy enough keys (you collect them during base game) to get the bonus. Definitely looking forward on having a decent session with it.
