NetEnt Heads to Croatia

This story was published more than 3 years ago.

Casino game developer NetEnt has announced that they have entered the Croatian gaming market after they signed content deals with SuperSport, Germania, and Arena Casino.

The expansion is the latest for the Swedish gaming firm, who has recently moved into Switzerland and Colombia, and has been making strides throughout other emerging regulated markets. The company is initially going to be rolling out slots, but other games are a possibility in the near future. Backend marketing tools are also included, allowing the casinos to promote the games with an array of bonuses.

Commenting on the entrance NetEnt's Henrik Fagerlund said, "We've been eying the Croatian market for a while and we are of course happy to make this market entry. Growing our business in regulated markets is part of the core strategy for the NetEnt group. We are excited to put our portfolio of slot games in front of players and I'm certain they will enjoy them."

The games will be available soon, although no firm date was available as of press time.

I wish I could say I'm glad for the Croatian punters but probably the Netent entrance happened a couple of years too late for them...back then they were a decent brand...not sure about it now.
