Betting group Soft2Bet has announced that they've donated funds to the Malta Trust Foundation which will go to support the Malta Together Festival of Gratitude and Inspiration.
The festival is going to be virtual, and will be held on May 3rd at 9pm in an effort to support healthcare workers and other frontline workers that are helping in the Covid-19 pandemic. It will be aired on TVM1 in Malta and also streamed online. There will be different musical performances during the event, featuring the likes of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Ira Losco, Joseph Calleja, and others.
The Malta Trust Foundation provides for those most vulnerable on the island, providing food supplies and other support.
Commenting on the donation Soft2Bet Operations Director Oksana Tsyhankova said, "We live in unprecedented times and as a show of gratitude to the country of Malta, we felt compelled to contribute to such a worthy cause.
"The coronavirus continues to affect people across the globe and this event will hopefully be a great way to show solidarity in the face of adversity, and to help raise money for people who need it the most."
