Online poker group partypoker has been granted an Italian gaming license, which gives the company access to the market moving forward.

Partypoker is already operating in the market, having started on April 1st. The company is offering tournaments right now, as well as real-cash games. The market isn't new to partypoker, as the company had operated here before pulling out four years ago.

"Despite recent changes that restrict marketing in Italy, the poker market there remains an exciting opportunity for partypoker," said partypoker's Tom Waters. "We will be looking to improve and expand on our product and offering over 2020 and bring a different option for the Italian poker market."
