Swedish game developer NetEnt has announced that they've entered the Swiss gaming market after they obtained ISO 27001 certification, and the company's games are now on offer at Casino Luzern and Grand Casino Baden.
The certification shows that NetEnt covers various aspects of their operations to meet international standards. ISO certification is notoriously difficult to obtain, and oversees things such as infrastructure, network configuration, and protection of information. Switzerland has deemed it necessary for all license holders in the country to hold this certification, thus weeding out a lot of fly-by-night companies.
Speaking about the certification NetEnt's Henrik Fagerlund noted: "The ISO 27001 certification is an important acknowledgment for us and is the result of dedicated and hard work from our team. We pride ourselves on being a reliable, trustworthy and secure partner to customers and players.
"We continue to deliver on our strategy to grow by strengthening our position in regulated markets. We are very pleased to take this step into the Swiss market and look forward to launching our award-winning games with even more operators soon."
NetEnt is distributing their games through the Paf platform at Grand Casino Luzern, and through the Gamanza platform at Grand Casino Baden.
