Today the IGT MegaJackpots Progressive was hit by a punter spinning the reels, taking home an impressive £1,274,861 jackpot in the process.

The big win is the 51st win for the game since we started tracking the jackpot in December 2009. The average win for the prize is £862,660, and the all-time record for the win is £2,148,947, which was hit in September 2013. The average time between wins is 10 weeks.

This jackpot is tied to a number of IGT online slots, and it grows with every spin of the reels, with a portion of the bet amount going into the jackpot's pool The win is awarded randomly.

It's is a great hit that one...I've always felt this is one the Jackpots worth chasing...I guess this news just confirms that.
