This week it was announced that the Gaming Innovation Group has signed a content deal with 1x2 Network and will add the group's virtual sports offering to their platform moving forward.
The deal will see the full product offering of 1x2 being ported over, with players given the chance to bet on horse races, auto races, soccer, and greyhound races, among other virtual events. This deal is striking at the right time for GiG, as most sporting events around the globe have been canceled or postponed, leaving many betting sites without an important source of revenue.
Commenting on the deal GiG CIO Chris Armes said, "Partnering with 1X2 Network allows us to offer a quality virtual sports portfolio with realistic 3D games for some of the most popular on-demand sports betting games. This allows operators to increase their offering placing them at the forefront of sports betting."

I think it's certainly a smart move from GIG part, as I believe in the current situation virtual sports will become more popular and 1x2 is a good game provider in my opinion.
