Epic Win!: $16,495,060 Mega Moolah Jackpot Won

Today a lucky gambler hit it big at Jackpot City Casino when they struck Microgaming's Mega Moolah jackpot, taking home the game's third-largest jackpot in history worth CAD $16,495,060.

This win is the 63rd time that the Mega jackpot has been hit since we've been tracking the game, and easily comes in above the $5,889,389 average. The largest win for the prize is €18,915,721, which was won by an anonymous punter at Grand Mondial. The second-largest win for the prize is $20,057,734, which was hit at Zodiac Casino last year by a Canadian player.

The Mega Moolah Mega Jackpot is hosted by Microgaming and can be won on a few different video slots offered by the company. The prize wins with every spin of the reels and can be won randomly on any spin.

Note: updated Wednesday April 8 to note that the winner was playing at Jackpot City Casino, and that the prize was won in Canadian dollars.

Wow, what a nice prize to haul in, and a great time to win it. I wonder what the big winner is going to do with their new fortune.

I could be wrong but my guess is that it may have been won in Canadian dollars.

In order to be fair to everyone playing, the prize is won in whatever local currency the winner is using but it is converted back to British Pounds and deducted from the total. We know the total dropped from almost £16.5m to about £7m, which is a £9.5m drop. And CAD $16.5m works out to be quite close to £9.5m at current exchange rates.

I played Mega Moolah a lot last week. My bet was from 0.25 to 1.75!!!
But, I never got any Jackpot game, huh...

The Jackpot was won in Canadian Dollar, so it is still huge at 7m!!

I will try it again!!! 🙂

Please stop with calculations Ed..cause eventually the poor guy/girl might ended up owing some money to the house😉...I'd take the £7m if there's nothing better though🤑...would exchange some of that for 1mill CL chips (even that would cost me in the rate) and buy slim that maserati from the shop!

Well if that's Kris...it would be a long time before we would hear anything from him I suppose😀

The last time the man had a decent profit he bout a PS4 and probably didn't go to work for a week...{just guessing here😛} ..so how about a CAD $16.5m win...can't even imagine what would be..😉

I think that Mega Moolah is going up slower than before. Now it is at $8.5 million.

I was thinking WaroftheGods has been a bit quiet lately....perhaps that explains it! It would be so great if that windfall went to a CL member🤑😂
