German ice hockey league Deutsche Eishockeyliga (DEL) has announced that they've signed an agreement with Mybet, which will see the sportsbetting brand become the league's exclusive sportsbook partner.
The agreement will see Mybet serving as the league's official partner, providing the company marketing opportunities on TV ads as well as a presence on DEL social media pages. Mybet has previously experienced some problems, as they were set to go out of business until their current owners stepped up to buy the assets. Mybet has previously served as a sponsor of the Bundesliga, Germany's top tier of football.
Commenting on the deal DEL managing director Gernot Tripcke said, "We look forward to this strategic cooperation with Mybet. This gives our ice hockey fans the opportunity to bet on their favourites.
"At the same time, we will look to raise the profile of ice hockey in Germany through a series of campaigns."
