Iowa's sportsbetting market fell in terms of revenues during the month of February, after punters scored on bets during the period.
Net receipts for the month were $755,334, down 76.6% from the month prior. The Hawkeye State's betting handle was down 1.9% to $56.9 million due to a drop in retail bets. Online betting numbers were up 11.6% to $37.8 million, but retail bets were down 20.9% to $19.1 million.
Online net revenues were $1.4 million, with online bettors winning $36.4 million. Retail bettors won $19.7 million, which resulted in the sector losing $614,574 for the month.
