This story was published more than 3 years ago.

Casino game designer Relax Gaming has announced the release of Heroe's Gathering, which lets players get in on an epic quest for the chance to win up to 400 times their bet amount.

The game is a 5 reel, 20 payline video slot that takes place on a fictional battlefield where we see wizards, goblins, knights, and others slugging it out for supremacy. The slot brings bonus symbols (scatters), free spins, wilds, and a Bronze, Silver, and Gold prize pot. There's also a wheel of fortune mechanic built in, where players can progress around a game board bonus round. As with all Relax slots, Heroe's Gathering has mobile support as well as traditional desktop support.

A preview of the game can be seen below:

Commenting on the launch Relax Gaming's Simon Hammon said, "Heroes' Gathering is another fantastic addition to our in-house slot portfolio that offers an engaging boardgame-inspired gameplay and unique Bonus Round designed to appeal to a range of player styles and audiences.

"Its classic theme brings all the thrilling features together in a complete package that is both visually appealing and loaded with adventure."

Heroes' Gathering is available for play now at casinos offering Relax's library of games.

This game in many ways reminds me of Jumanji since it's inspired by a board game. I quite like the concept of it so I'm curious to try it out!

I played this one a little bit, probably not enough to give it a fair review, but with what little time I spent playing so far, my opinion on the game is not very good I would say lol the only reason I would play again is if I decided to write a review on it.

I have to agree- I think it's more game for entertainment and just an eye-candy to look at, but the payouts are quite low. I had around 1000 spins on the game the other day and not a single 100x bet winner. But features came in frequently and balance went up a bit, so for what it's worth, might be a good game for lowrolling.
