The state of New Hampshire has processed more than a million wagers on sports during the first six weeks that the activity has been legally in operation, with more than $28.6 million bet.
The millionth wager was placed on February 8th, and the state has since surpassed the 1.15 million mark for wagers. There are more than 36,923 registered sportbetting users within the state, wherein the New Hampshire Lottery has partnered with DraftKings to offer online wagers.
Thus far it seems that the activity is proving popular among the state's politicians, with Governor Chris Sununu saying, "When it comes to sports betting, New Hampshire is carving out its status in granite as New England's premier destination."

Certainly the number of players and wagers in the state will just continue to grow in the next months and probably even couple of years.
