American betting group Golden Nugget has announced that they've signed a sportsbetting supply deal with Scientific Games that will see the company's OpenSports suite worked into Nugget's properties across the United States.

The agreement will run through 2024 and will cover Golden Nugget across multiple states, with more being added as sportsbetting is regulated and legalized on an individual basis. To start, the suite will be worked into Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The two companies have worked together since 2015 when the Open Gaming platform was worked into the Golden Nugget online platform.

It's understood that the New Jersey platform will be managed by Don Best Sports, a SG subsidiary.

Commenting on the deal Scientific Games CEO of Digital Jordan Levin noted: "Following Golden Nugget's transition to our solutions, we look forward to launching sports on top of our long-standing player account and iGaming relationship.

"Golden Nugget has a wide player base across the US, having pioneered the iGaming space in New Jersey from its earliest days, and we're excited to power their sports betting and iGaming presence, providing a seamless and reliable end-to-end betting experience."
