Betting giant IGT has announced that they've signed a distribution agreement with Delaware North Gaming & Entertainment, which will see the company powering sportsbooks at the group's West Virginia and Arkansas locations.
The deal will see IGT's PlaySports platform technology coming to Mardi Gras Casino & Resort and Wheeling Island Casino-Hotel-Racetrack, as well as retail locations at the Southland Casino Racing track. The platform allows punters to place wagers on dozens of different sports, including baseball, football, basketball, hockey, auto racing, and more. The platform covers both retail and mobile wagers, meaning that it will work on kiosks in addition to user phones.
IGT now has sportsbetting agreements in place in Nevada, New Jersey, Arkansas, Oregon, New York, Iowa, Mississippi, Rhode Island, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
