FireKeepers Casino to Partner With Scientific Games

Michigan-based land betting destination FireKeepers Casino has announced that they've signed a partnership deal with Scientific Games to power their online betting site moving forward.

The agreement will see SG providing casino games and sportsbetting services, including table games, slot machines, video poker, and more. The company has a lot of experience working in the United States, seeing as how they're based in Nevada and offer services in regulated markets like Pennsylvania and New Jersey. FireKeepers is a tribal casino, based on the west side of the state and is known for their 243 room hotel resort, which also includes 107,000 square feet in gaming space.

Michigan lawmakers voted to legalize online gambling and sportsbetting last year, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed the bill into law. Since that time there have been a few content deals between the state's different casinos and software groups in anticipation of launching services in the very near future.

Commenting on the deal FireKeepers Casino VP of Marketing Jim Wise said, "We're excited to partner with someone who has enormous expertise in both sports and online gambling. We didn't want someone who was good at one and bad at the other and have to mix partners."
