Playtech and TruNarrative Link Up for Compliance Program

Online gaming software group Playtech has announced that they've signed on with TruNarrative to help develop a compliance platform.

The agreement will see the two developing backend tools to help ensure that operators are compliant in different jurisdictions. This is of vital importance, as jurisdictions like Sweden and the UK have been tightening the reigns on their licensed operators. The platform will be able to ensure compliance with age and identity verification, document validation, safer gambling services, PEP and sanctions screening, and ongoing monitoring.

Commenting on the deal Playtech VP of Product Strategy Anthony Evans said, "In linking Playtech's core gaming products and its BetBuddy safer gambling analytics software with TruNarrative's compliance platform, we are enabling operators to access a unique safer gambling solution."

Playtech's Ian Ince added: "The increasingly complex regulatory framework is the single biggest challenge facing gambling businesses operating in regulated markets. This partnership will help operators answer this challenge."

No timetable for the integration of the service is available at this time.
