Betting software group Finnplay revealed this week that they've been granted an online gaming license by Denmark's gaming regulator, Spillemyndigheden.

The license will allow Finnplay to provide their software to casino partners, who can then provide the games to players. Finnplay is based out of Finland, and their platform features the likes of NetEnt, NYX, Evolution, Yggdrasil, Microgaming, Play'n GO, and other developers. The platform also has a series of backend tools for management and marketing teams. The company also holds licenses in the UK, Belgium, Malta, Mexico, and Sweden.

Speaking about the license Finnplay CEO Martin Prantner noted: "This new Danish licence presents a great opportunity for Finnplay and our operating partners. Our strong record of compliance in regulated markets and the Nordics will help ensure a smooth and successful entry to the Danish market."

As of press time there wasn't a list of operators that Finnplay will be providing their services to.
