This story was published more than 4 years ago.

Online betting operator Red Star Poker has announced that they've joined the Playtech iPoker Network and will be working in the gaming giant's poker platform moving forward.

The agreement will see Red Star offering Playtech's poker backbone and games to their clients, offering integrated player pools, unique games, tournaments, and more. Red Star is well-established in the Eastern European market, and the inclusion of big-name software like Playtech will continue to aid in branding Red Star as a strong competitor in the iGaming market.

Commenting on the partnership Playtech COO Shimon Akad said, "We are delighted to welcome Red Star on board with Playtech. At a time when the Poker market is facing undeniable challenges, at Playtech we are completely committed to addressing those challenges head-on. Red Star's decision to collaborate with us is a testament to our long-term investment in our Poker network and its ongoing development - and of course our commitment to our operators."

There hasn't been a timetable for the integration of the platform as of press time.
