Casino software developer Playtech has partnered with GVC Holdings to launch a new live dealer studio 'Elevation', which will be exclusive to GVC's brands.
The studio will have its own space at the Playtech live dealer studio and feature five blackjack tales and a roulette table, but additional games will be added in the coming months. The studio will have a backdrop of the London skyline and the games will be playable on desktop and mobile devices.
Live dealer games have been becoming more of a focus for developers, who see the broadcast games as a way to provide land casino experiences to punters from the comfort of their own homes.
Commenting on the new partnership Playtech COO Shimon Akad said, "As the parent company behind some of the most iconic brands in online gambling, GVC has been a key partner for us for many years, and we're delighted to be extending that partnership with the development of Elevation.
"We've significantly invested in our live casino technology and facilities in recent years, in addition to continually diversifying our content - so in a year when we've done more than ever to enhance our product, it seems only fitting to be working with an industry leader to deliver an ever-more innovative live experience."
GVC's Shay Segev added: "Significant investment has gone into delivering the first stage of the Elevation studio and we're delighted with the results.
"Playtech's track record and experience in delivering innovative live casino technology and content is unsurpassed. We're looking forward to continuing our successful partnership and delivering a world-class player experience."

I wonder what the Elevate brand will do for GVC's brands. I mean I get that they have more than one site so labeling everything as "bwin" wouldn't work, but what does Elevate mean for their brand?
Yeah I'm also interested to see how this will work in real life-branded studio, branded tables? Different uniforms for dealers or none of the above?
