The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement posted their strongest month ever for sportsbetting revenues, seeing the state's total reach $37.9 million in September.
The big month saw September bets on wagers rise to $445.6 million, with online wagers making up 84% of all wagers placed. Retail spots saw $71.3 million wagered on sports. For the year to date, $2.97 billion has been wagered on sports in New Jersey, with 82.1% of wagers being placed online.
The best performing books were the Meadowlands racetrack and its sub-licensees FanDuel and PointsBet. The trio hauled in $16.9 million, which is a 134.2% increase over last year's total.
