Gbets to Use BetConstruct for Sportsbook

The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board has granted BetConstruct permission to provide the sportsbetting backbone for online gaming group Gbets.

The approval will see BetConstruct's sportsbook platform being used to facilitate wagers on sporting events. Gbets is one of the approved online betting groups in South Africa, and the new book will provide live multi-play as well as voice-assisted betting technology. Gbets is hoping to launch the new product sometime next month.

For their part, BetConstruct has existing relationships in South Africa, as they hold a license through the South Africa National Gambling Board. Speaking about their success in the country and the new product BetConstruct's Dhrupal Amin noted: "Towards the end of November this year, South African betting consumers can look forward to an innovative, world class betting experience with product features new to the South African sports betting landscape.

"In September this year, we relaunched our online business in Lesotho on the BetConstruct solution, which includes sports betting online casino and live casino products.

"The market response has exceeded our expectations, and we are seeing strong growth in new customer acquisition."
