Delaware Online Betting Market Hits Year High for Revenues

The state of Delaware released their latest set of online betting numbers, showing that September set the pace for most profitable month for the year thus far.

For the month, online revenues amounted to $384,830, beating out the previous high of $313,648, which was posted in May. The revenues were higher than any other month of the year, and came despite players betting a lower amount ($11.8 million) than in August ($12.5 million). Table games saw $7.9 million in bets and $171,156 in revenue generated, with video lottery seeing $3.9 million in wagers and $192,750 in revenues.

The numbers mean that punters won $11.4 million on internet gambling during the month, with $7.7 million won on table games and $3.7 million on lottery and slot style games.

No comment from the state's gaming regulator was available as of press time.
