SG Games Begins Offering Sportsbetting in Turkey

Betting firm Scientific Games has announced that they've launched their venture in conjunction with the Demirören Group to begin offering sportsbetting within Turkey.

The new venture is called Şans Girişim and will offer services across the country, as there will be 5,000 betting terminals installed at retail locations around the country, and there will also be six online betting sites that can offer the activity. The company is authorized to provide sportsbetting services for the next 10 years, and the products will be deployed through the SG OpenSport platform.

Speaking about the launch Scientific Games CEO Barry Cottle said, "The excitement surrounding our joint venture's win of the 10-year sports betting concession in Turkey, followed by a successful launch on schedule is everything we have been working toward the last several years.
