Pennsylvania Sees $100 Million Bet on Internet Gambling/Sportsbetting

The state of Pennsylvania's first full month of internet gambling and sportsbetting being a lucrative one, as more than $200 million was wagered on the activities.

August was the first full month that the activities were available, and $111.8 million was spent on interactive betting. $62 million of the total went to slots, while $49.7 million went to table games. Sportsbetting also surpassed $100 million, with a huge jump of activity taking place online. Of the $109 million, $83.2 million was wagered online, with retail making up $9.9 million of the total.

The numbers were more than double the $49.2 million that was generated in July, but it should be noted that the activity was available for the final 16 days of the month.

No comment from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board was available as of press time.

Obviously there's a huge boost particularly to the sportsbetting market in Pennsylvania and probably it's not a surprise the online market took the major piece of it, I assume the numbers would only grow in the next couple of months and probably even beyond.
