Our sister site LCB.org has caught WPokies Casino using pirated casino games and faking their Curacao gaming license, which are major no-nos and should see the site added to just about every blacklist available.
The initial report came from a user on the LCB forum, who pointed out that they suspected there were pirated games in WPokies' library. As the team looked into the claims, they indeed found that the casino's games are being hosted from bogus servers, which indicate that they're pirated and not licensed from the game creators.
This serves as a serious indictment of the casino, as the activity is criminal theft, and the games themselves can be doctored to screw over players. Making matters worse, the WPokies was caught claiming that they have a Curacao gaming license, this despite the regulator showing that there is no record of the casino holding a license.
Needless to say, WPokies is being added to our blacklist, and we urge all players to avoid playing at the site in order to keep from being scammed out of their hard-earned money.
We'll be following this story and will update readers as we learn more.

I should say that I'm surprised to see this, but there are so many places I've seen over the years offering bootleg games that I'm almost numb to it.

So yet another crooked casino specifically designed to target Aussies like me. I see they have Aristocrat games which any experienced Aussie player knows are not available to us online for real money. Aside from that the name is dumb. Hey let's just put any old letter in front fo the word pokies. Coming next week... XPokies, then YPokies, then ZPokies.
Thank goodness the stable geniuses in our government have entirely eliminated the threat of online gambling from ripping people off. It's not like they could have foreseen that aggressively pursuing and hounding out all the honest operators would leave a gaping hole in the market that would be filled by crooks like this. Oh wait...

Reading your comment Ed I 'm thinking we might hear about more such stories in the coming months.
Behind the scenes and through email we've been hearing them every week for months. It's either casinos running fake games or players getting ripped off. The volume of complaints have exploded since the dumbos started trying to enforce this ban and there's nothing we can do other than to publish stuff like this to warn people.

I don't know why people think they can get away with things like this these days, you better be extremely good if you want to get away with cheating people. I hope every one of them get caught.
Unfortunately, most gamblers don't pay attention and the sites get away with it because of their aggressive marketing efforts. They rake in enough gamblers that they're profitable, and since there's no means to sanction them, they're happy to continue doing it.
