Playtech Enters Portuguese Market

Casino software group Playtech has announced that they've entered the Portuguese gaming market thanks to a partnership with the Solverde Group.

The agreement will see Playtech offering their software through the local operator, which is using the domain CasinoSolverde.pt domain. The deal includes games, as well as Playtech's backend tools, which provide insights into player activity as well as management tools. The partnership is in effect now, and visitors to the site can access the titles now.

"This is an exciting moment for CasinoSolverde.pt as we further develop the casino experience we offer to our customers," said Solverde's Manuel Silva Carvalho. "We are pleased to partner with Playtech to bring its industry-leading casino offering to the Portuguese audience and are confident it will be a driver of growth for both our businesses in Portugal."

Playtech CEO Shimon Akad added: "This deal highlights the continued strength of our data driven platform to offer integrated solutions to operators and we hope to announce further successes in regulated markets soon."

No doubt this is an exiting news for the casino which would be able to use and deliver Playtech software and games to the local market exclusively, as a well known and respected brand in the industry no doubt Playtech will catch the eye of the local punters I believe.
