NetEnt Releases 'Butterfly Staxx 2' Slot

Swedish casino game developer NetEnt has announced that they've launched their newest video slot 'Butterfly Staxx 2', which lets players combine flowers and butterflies for a chance to win big.

The game is a 5 reel, 40 payline affair that sees a series of different butterfly symbols, flower types, and the standard slot style face symbols. The game also has a series of features, which includes re-spins, a pick'em game, and wilds. The game can be played on desktop and mobile devices, and is playable now at casinos offering NetEnt's library.

A preview of the game can be seen below:

NetEnt's Director of Games Bryan Upton spoke about the release, noting: "Butterfly Staxx 2 is a true sequel to the highly successful Butterfly Staxx. It takes a familiar, powerful mechanic that has been amplified to meet the voracious player expectations of today. This game shows the industry needs all different types of games and this is all about player entertainment and stickiness. As always, adding enhanced player interaction means engagement and success, and the multi-level pick-and-click bonus does just that. Another modern-day classic in the making."

This one seems like a big yawner to me. I'm not too impressed with what I'm seeing.

I didn't like the original version of this game. And in the 2nd version, I don't understand why they didn't just put 3x multiplier in the free spin feature 🙂

The Butterfly Frenzy feature seems to be a bit different and interesting.

Yeah... a bit too many butterfly's for my taste there but to be honest I'm not that fancy in Netent latest releases anyway so could skip that one without too much regret to be honest.
