This story was published more than 4 years ago.

Casino group SugarHouse has announced that they've become the first Pennsylvania online casino to get an iOS app, allowing mobile users to wager on their iPhones and iPads.

The app was developed to integrate with the GeoGuard service, which uses geofence technology to ensure that users are physically within Pennsylvania when they go to place online wagers. Mobile betting is is a huge vertical for online betting, as nearly half of wagers are placed on the portable devices, and this app will help make the process easier to Keystone State punters.

Users of the app will have access to slots and table games, and poker will soon go live for the app. Those who want to gamble will have to be 21 and older as well as physically located in Pennsylvania at the time of wagering.
