Microgaming to Release 'The Smashing Biscuit' Slot

This story was published more than 4 years ago.

Gaming giant Microgaming is releasing PearFiction Studios' video slot 'The Smashing Biscuit', which features a make-believe punk garage band.

The game is a 5 reel, 20 payline affair that takes place in a garage as well as on a big stage. The band is made up of the Biscuit Brothers: Crunchy, Tiny, and Soggy (yes folks Microgaming did just name one of their characters Soggy Biscuit); who either have a terrible set of parents or made their names up for a shot at fame. The game's features include wilds, win multipliers, free spins, scatters, and more. These features are usually set off by the Dad Bonus, which is triggered at random.

Speaking about the release Microgaming's Jagoda Barber said, "We are delighted to add The Smashing Biscuit as the latest exclusive game to Microgaming. Bringing plenty of exhilarating excitement from the very first spin, The Smashing Biscuit offers an abundance of intuitive features, entertaining sound effects and an engaging storyline, and is set to bring players on a rewarding journey." Presumably there was no word on the inspiration behind the choice of names for the characters.

A preview of the game can be seen below:

The Smashing Biscuit is available for play now at casinos that use Microgaming's library.

I don't really know if it is just me, but I'm not too excited about this release. I don't really like the layout and the design looks -meh- for my taste.

Oh dear. Microgaming seriously just named a character "soggy biscuit." Surely they knew what they were doing there, surely!

If what I just said makes no sense to you, consider this a fair warning that you probably don't want to google that phrase.

CL-Ed, I have no idea what it means and after your comment I highly doubt that I should research it! 😂

I thinkt aht this game is really new theme. Microgaming is working with many new game studios, so, their new releases are very different from their old games. I will check this game out, too 😀
