UK software group Gamesys has announced that they've launched mobile betting brand Virgin Bet, which will let punters get in their wagers from anywhere you want.
The sportsbook will be powered by and will provide an interface that features Virgin branding. The Virgin brand is notorious for being slapped on many things, including jet service, record stores, game studios, and more. The book is licensed in the UK, but doesn't appear to have a casino tied to it at this time, as there is a Virgin Casino already in operation.
Speaking about the launch Gamesys' Simon Mizzi said, "We're excited to launch Virgin Bet into the world's most competitive sportsbook market. We believe the Virgin brand has the ability to help change the industry for the better and we look forward to giving our customers the experience we feel they deserve."
SBTech CEO Richard Carter added: "This is a significant announcement and achievement for the business which strengthens our UK presence. Gamesys is likely to become one of our largest customers over time and we're delighted to be working with their management team whom we have long admired.
"Gamesys has put its faith in us due to our proven track record of delivering world-class sportsbook and casino platform solutions. This is testament to our talented team, outstanding product portfolio and the exceptional results we are able to generate for our partners."
