Internet poker group PokerStars has announced that they've signed three UFC personalities to become brand ambassadors, bringing announcer Bruce Buffer, Daniel Cormier, and Johnny Walker.
The deals will see the trio helping support the PokerStars brand, appearing in different marketing promotions such as web ads. The group will also likely be involved in joining different events to boost interest.
Buffer, the long time UFC fight announcer, is also a big fan of poker. At one point he used his iconic voice to open the PokerStars Player's No-Limit Hold 'em Championships at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The winner of that tournament was Chris Moneymaker, and Buffer spoke glowingly of him, noting: "To join him alongside this great lineup of athletes and poker pros is a great honour for me."
PokerStars has a large stable of athletes that serve as brand ambassadors, with the likes of Usain Bolt, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Rafael Nadal all on the roster at one point.

What a name for a poker player by the way - Chris Moneymaker, surely I've had heard it over the years but have been forgot about it.
Seems like Poker Stars are desperate to involve some of the biggest sports stars into their advertising campaigns and why not some of the announcers as well.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE ARE LIIIIIIIVE!"
I'd love to hear ol' Bruce belt that out during a tournament. Charges me up every time I hear it.

A boxing fan Slim?
I'm no so tempted in it these days but still remember the ear-eater days, Holyfield was my favorite though.
I'm a MMA fan, actually. Seeing the different arts combined together and worked out in the cage is a big draw for me. My daughter loves watching them too. She just started Jiu Jitsu and she's a big fan.
