Online gaming giant Playtech has announced that they've signed a content deal with Spanish operator RETAbet, and will provide a casino platform to the company as a result.
The agreement will see Playtech providing an exclusive platform to RETAbet as well as a live dealer solution. Playtech's suite of games such as table games and slot machines will be added, giving RETAbet a larger selection that will compliment their sportsbetting product.
Playtech's Mor Weizer spoke about the deal, noting: "Playtech has a strong track record of working hand-in-hand with its licensees, ensuring they are at the forefront of innovation in regulated markets in Europe and across the globe. This deal is a prime example of our strategy to partner with, and invest in, the leading brands, and we look forward to working with RETAbet to bring our top-quality casino content to the Spanish market."
RETAbet CEO Xabier Rodriguez-Maribona added: "Being a Podium position sports betting retailer in Spain and having a profitable growth strategy, we have been waiting for the optimum timing to launch our casino product. Our proprietary retail solution is top of the range and we wanted to supply our clients also a top-quality casino product in our fast growing online and mobile distribution channel."
