This week Paddy Power Betfair's shareholders voted to approve of the company's re-branding to Flutter Entertainment.
The vote came during the company's Annual General Meeting, where financial results are shared and plans for the company are discussed. Executives at the company want to change their name to Flutter Entertainment, which will be a bit more diverse than the current name, which features the company's top two brands. Shareholders voted 99.76% in favor of the change.
All other proposed measures put forth by the executive team, including issuing a dividend of 133 pence per share for the fiscal year 2018.
Paddy Power has had a successful year thus far, as revenues are up 17% for the period, including a hefty 26% jump in gaming. These results helped CEO Peter Jackson get re-elected as company director at the meeting.
As of press time, we don't have a timeframe for the changeover to Flutter Entertainment, but we'll keep players posted as we learn more.

Yeah I think they should of done that every since the two company have merged.
Now the name is just...the two brands titles written in succession really, but I'm a bit surprised the new one they've choose, why not some collaboration of the two instead, in the end both those brands are pretty recognizable and have been working for their names to be such for years and now now just throw it away...don't think that's wise if any.
So, they are changing their company name, not the casino names, correct?
I think that the Betfair is the best name for a casino.
Paddy Power name doesn't really come to me though 🙂
