FanDuel Signs Agreement With fuboTV

This story was published more than 4 years ago.

Sportsbetting firm FanDuel announced that they've signed a partnership with streaming service fuboTV, which will see FanDuel becoming the exclusive sportsbook, casino, daily fantasy sports, and horse racing partner of the service.

The exact terms of the agreement haven't been revealed, but it will see FanDuel becoming the only advertiser on fuboTV for the four categories. fubo is a streaming service that offers live internet television to customers, with dozens of mainstream channels offered. No timetable for the beginning of the advertising was announced, either.

Commenting on the agreement FanDuel's Adam Kaplan said, "fuboTV is a sports-centric company, focused on live sports and entertainment content, making them a natural partner. By integrating our odds and data on fuboTV's platform, we are truly changing the way people watch live sports."

"We're partnering with fuboTV to demonstrate how FanDuel can enhance the live viewing experience by allowing cord-cutting sports fans to view the content that matters to them the most from their TV, phone, tablet or computer."

fuboTV's Min Kim added: "Gaming and sports are natural complements, and fuboTV's industry-leading product offerings will be further enriched with FanDuel's innovative entertainment solutions.

"We're thrilled to select FanDuel as our partner - the first deal of its kind between a virtual MVPD and a gaming company - and integrate their products into fuboTV."

Never heard of that onlive TV earlier but I guess they have a good number of viewers if FanDuel jumps in an advertisement deal with them being an exclusive one moreover, so will be interesting to see how that will going to work for the gambling company.

Fubo is getting more popular here, and this will probably give FanDue a huge amount of exposure moving forward. I'm grandfathered into a great streaming deal with DirecTV Now, but they're inching the prices up. If mine gets much higher though, I'm either switching to fuboTV or YouTube TV. So it seems like I may be seeing some FD ads!

If its anything like I see when I watch a UK stream of UFC, I'm sure I'll be seeing FanDuel logos in my sleep!
