Over the weekend a punter playing a Microgaming slot hit the Mega Moolah Mega Jackpot for a huge $8,165,457 prize.
The big jackpot win is the 54th for the Mega Jackpot over the past decade and comes in far above the $5,916,855 average that is paid out. The win is far below the record of €18,915,721, which was won at Grand Mondial last year.
The Mega Moolah Mega is tied to a series of Microgaming slots and grows with every spin of the reels, as a portion of the bet feeds into the jackpot. The jackpot is triggered randomly and can be won with any bet amount.

How is Mega Moolah Major Jackpot working? 22h since last win and it is only 10 056e? I have seen major "odd" things with this slot (mainly considering logical pot growing), has anyone else noticed the same?

I mean, if you go to the tracker of 10 000e Major Jackpot you can really see there is times when that jackpot is not growing at all. Like now. Eventhough it is weekend. How can it be that way? I think this game should be checked (just to make sure and gain trust) by some authorities, but by whom?
I do not have anything to against this, but since I am consumer I would like to know how this slot plays out.

Nope, that is not the answer. Go to the https://www.casinolistings.com/jackpots/microgaming/mega-moolah-major-ja... and look how to tracker goes. It goes just with x-line sometimes, and when it works "normally" it starts growing right after when it is won by someone.
That happens time to time, not always but quite often as I can see and so should You.

It is not about the jackpot tracker, because jackpot tracker works just fine. Issue is with that Major jackpot is not starting to grow when it is won by someone. Most of time it works like it should be, but there is too often times when it does not grow like it should.
It would be very interesting to know, why so.

Just to be clear, is this a problem you are seeing in the game or only while looking at our tracker page?
Looking at the Mega Moolah Major tracker page I think you are right. It looks as if the jackpot is often flat after a win for quite a while then rises steeply all of a sudden. If you are actually seeing that in game and not just on our tracker page then there must be some kind of bug. However if it is only our tracker that is showing the wrong numbers then that would mean the Microgaming feed we are using does not have the correct data all the time (which would not be a surprise).

Major Jackpot doesn't grow at all right after the win. Maybe, Microgaming is kind of checking the server, in the meantime, the other jackpots (Mega, Minor, Mini) keep grow...

I think all the jackpots should start growing after they are won. I do not think that is okay that jackpot is not growing eventhough People play it.
I wonder how long it doesn't grow, but if it is really about the server check after the jackpot trigger, like for 12 hours ~ 24 hours, I think that it is ok, as long as other Jackpots go up normally.
But, there might be some points to be improved to avoid players' claims like yours.
