Churchill Downs Launches BetAmerica in New Jersey

This story was published more than 5 years ago.

Kentucky based betting firm Churchill Downs Interactive has announced the launch of their BetAmerica brand within the state of New Jersey, offering sportsbetting and casino games to customers.

The launch comes offering games from NetEnt, Everi, Konami, and IGT and uses the Golden Nugget gaming license as their host. The launch comes after Churchill Downs launched the brand in Mississippi, but those are located within physical casinos and don't have online components outside of the establishments.

The move is the latest expansion for Churchill Downs, which has been making investments in new markets as well as the cyber industry. The group also has eyes on the neighboring Pennsylvania, and is securing deals to launch there when the market goes live later this year.
Those who want to play at the site will have to be physically located in the state of New Jersey and over the age of 21.
