Internet betting group Paddy Power Betfair announced this week that they've signed a content deal extension with Scientific Games and will use the latter's Open Gaming System platform for the UK, Irish, and Italian markets.
The two companies have worked together for some time, but the new platform is going to be custom-tailored for the online giant, and will grant them access to more than 2,000 different casino titles that are included in the platform. The product is being offered in the state of New Jersey, and the expansion into the European markets will help solidify the brand around the globe.
Speaking about the deal SG Digital's Dylan Slaney said, "We're thrilled to have delivered our OGS service to long-standing partner Paddy Power Betfair for its UK, Irish and Italian operations. They are an established operator with a sizeable offering and the decision to integrate OGS for its key regulated markets is further endorsement of the scalability and quality of our gaming product portfolio."
The platform is operational now and players have access to the full slate of games.
